Force Spectroscopy application with FluidFM ADD-ON for your existing AFM
FluidFM-based single cell force spectroscopy offers 10 times higher throughput and much easier manipulation of the cells of interest.
Please find below an example of a quantification of adhesion forces between yeast and mammalian cells using FluidFM technology. This video is based on a protocol developed at ETH Zürich in the laboratory of Prof. Julia Vorholt.

Measure, Clean, Repeat
When working with mammalian cells, they will stick to the FluidFM probe after an adhesion measurement. Thus the probe needs to be properly cleaned after each cell measured. Only once the probe is visibly clean a new cell measurement shoudl be started for best data quality.
