Our growing company is looking for a motivated Application Scientist to join our Technology & Products team. You will be helping Cytosurge to develop novel protocols based on our cutting-edge FluidFM OMNIUM platform and make sure our customers around the globe reach their research goals.

Your Challenge
Develop and refine new application protocols for single-cell experiments based on our FluidFM OMNIUM platform in cooperation with our R&D team
Ensure high-quality of produced data and accurate reporting
Transfer your know-how and accumulated expertise with FluidFM experiments to new and existing customers by training and supporting them throughout the phases of experimental design, execution and data interpretation
Help our customer base with both application questions and technical issues (remote or onsite)
Manage (scientific) projects and deliverables
Support our sales activities as application specialists during calls and formulation of proof of principles for the acquisition of new customers
Support our marketing team with the latest findings and insights straight from the application lab
Participate in systems installations and trainings at the customers’ site
Help our R&D team by testing the newest equipment and software ahead of the market
Your Profile
Ph.D. in biophysics, material sciences, or similar
Professional experience in an industry setting, preferably in the biotechnology or life sciences sector
Hands-on laboratory and microscopy experience, ideally with AFM
Experience within the field of molecular biology and cell culture handling is of advantage
Applied project management skills and experience in interdisciplinary project teams
You have a patient, solution-oriented and winning personality and you like to explain complex technologies and transfer your knowledge to others
Ability to remain calm in difficult or stressful situations
You enjoy investing energies to maintain a good relationship with collaborators, peers and customers from all over the world and to ensure they are both happy and successful
Proficiency in data processing and analysis
You combine having a creative mind with a precise work manner
Availability to travel (up to 30%)
Very good English skills in spoken and written form
