Cytosurge is scaling its commercial reach across academia, biotech, and pharma. We are looking for a Head of Marketing who can bring our story to life and drive results. Someone who translates strategy into action, leads people, and isn’t afraid to get hands-on.
In this role, you will shape how we present ourselves to the world and connect our commercial goals with the real scientific value we deliver.
Your Challenge
- Develop and execute a clear, data-driven marketing strategy aligned with our growth priorities
- Position Cytosurge as a premium player in cell and gene editing instrumentation and services, reinforcing differentiation and value
- Translate strategic discussions into actionable marketing initiatives and measurable KPI’s
- Oversee the full marketing mix (digital, content, campaigns, PR, and events), ensuring consistency of message and ROI focus
- Implement and scale Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and digital demand-generation programs targeting biotech, pharma, and life sciences customers
- Lead website, brand, and content development projects
- Translate complex scientific concepts into compelling, value-based narratives that resonate across technical and business audiences
- Build internal alignment and clarity around marketing priorities, helping teams understand and champion our brand story
- Manage and mentor the marketing team (consisting of 2 team members) while balancing strategic guidance with hands-on involvement
- Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and collaboration
- Ensure efficient coordination with external agencies, suppliers and partners
Your Profile
- At least 10 years of experience in marketing within life sciences, medtech, or biotech, ideally with exposure to both instruments and services models
- Proven track record of leadership experience, equipping you with excellent leadership and people management skills
- Proven ability to design and execute integrated marketing strategies that generate measurable commercial outcomes
- Strong understanding of complex B2B sales cycles, including ABM, MQL/SQL conversion, and digital campaign performance
- Skilled at navigating internal dynamics, building consensus, and communicating across executive and technical teams
- Balance of strategic clarity and operational execution – you thrive in environments where structure and creativity must coexist
- You have a hands-on mentality and enjoy rolling up your sleeves
- Proficient English skills, both written and spoken
