Our growing company is looking for an experienced R&D Associate Scientist Biology who helps us improve our services by testing and evaluating new FluidFM applications. Our proprietary FluidFM syringes enable us to genetically manipulate cells at the single-cell level (e.g. injecting CRISPR RNP) paving the path to developing cellular models for the study of biological processes. In order to further develop our high-tech products, we need you to reinforce our current team.
Experimental testing of FluidFM applications with a focus on single-cell injections
Versatile and exciting cell biological and molecular biological laboratory work (e.g. work with different cell lines, DNA isolation, PCR optimization, immunofluorescence)
Work in an interdisciplinary team of software developers, nanotechnology experts, bioengineers, and biologists
Presentation of results internally to the R&D teams and your direct supervisors
Documentation of results
Writing protocols for internal use
Education as a laboratory technician (Biology) with EFA with several years of experience in cell/molecular biology or microscopy
Alternatively, a bachelor/master’s degree in cell/molecular biology with microscopy experience
You love working with high-tech products
Independent and diligent work attitude
Proficient with cell culture methods (regular and primary cell lines)
Experience with basic cell and molecular biology methods
High proficiency in English and/or German (written and spoken)
Experience with stem cell cultures is a plus
