Your challenge
Design and develop state-of-the-art user software that controls the lab automation and high-tech instruments
Find and implement technical solutions in close collaboration with experts from various scientific disciplines
Deliver application-ready platform features and extensions for internal users and customers
Your profile
Minimum two years software engineering experience with either C# or Java, or C++
Educational background in computer science, software engineering or electrical engineering is of advantage
Familiar with Python and modern web UI frameworks such as angular or react
Solid knowledge of software engineering practices and methods
Ideally previous experience in the development of machine/ instrument control software
You thrive working in an agile environment, with an accurate way of working and a pragmatic mentality
Passion for software engineering
You are committed to finding and independently implementing a sound solution when faced with a challenge
Very good English skills (spoken and written), German is a plus
Work eligibility in Switzerland: CH work permit/passport or passport from an EU or EFTA country
