At LABVOLUTION, we will present our FluidFM BOT, a fully integrated system for cell research.
The FluidFM BOT system is built around the patented FluidFM hollow probe technology to perform unique single cell nano-injection, nano-extraction, cell isolation and nano-printing experiments, with one semi-automatized tool.
The development of new transfected adherent cell lines using conventional methods is complex and comprises extensive work steps for transfection, selection, expansion and characterization.
New technologies in the fields of microfluidics, FluidFM nano-injection into single mammalian cells and the characterization of cell cultures with very small volumes open up possibilities for significantly simplifying and accelerating the workflow in cell line development, increasing efficiency and hence considerably reducing time and therefore costs.
