Our growing company is looking for an R&D intern, who closely collaborates with our engineers and biologists to support Cytosurge in extending the current laboratory capacities.
The duration of the internship may be agreed upon (between 6–12 months) and depends on the desired workload percentage. Please note that onsite presence in our offices in Glattbrugg is a requirement.
Your Challenge
- Participate in building our new automation laboratory
- Conduct research and obtain offers around laboratory automation and infrastructure
- Set-up and test laboratory equipment
- Support the projects of the science and technology team
Your Profile
- Completed apprenticeship or cantonal matura
- Affinity towards IT and passion for technology and hands-on assembly
- A background and/or high interest in biotechnology is of great advantage
- Knowledge of a coding language is of great advantage, especially Python
- Experience with Windows or Linux is of advantage
- You easily pick up new tasks and have a high ability to work in a focused manner
- You possess a systematic approach to work and are interested in biology
- Very good English skills (spoken and written) and good German skills (to communicate with local handicraft teams)
