Our company is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to support our continued growth and scale our commercial execution across our OMNIUM instruments and CellEDIT services businesses.

This role sits at the heart of our commercial organization, combining Inside Sales and Sales Operations responsibilities. With a strong focus on CellEDIT services, you will help transform demand into qualified opportunities and enable our Sales teams to focus on closing and customer value.

Your Challenge

  • Own and structure the early stages of the sales funnel, with a strong focus on inside sales for CellEDIT
  • Be the first commercial point of contact for many customer requests
  • Conduct proactive outreach to potential customers to build pipeline and identify opportunities
  • Prequalify opportunities (scope, budget, timeline, decision-makers) and ensure professional follow-up
  • Issue quotations efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure CRM and funnel discipline to improve predictability and speed
  • Enable Sales to focus on closing and Order Management on execution - while you make sure nothing gets lost in between

Your Profile

  • 3–6+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Inside Sales, or Commercial Operations
  • Experience in Life Sciences, Biotech, MedTech, or complex B2B environments
  • Proven ability to qualify customer requests and manage early sales stages
  • Hands-on experience preparing and issuing quotations (services and/or instruments)
  • Strong understanding of sales funnel management, CRM systems, and forecasting
  • A structured, commercially minded operator who enjoys being close to customers while bringing rigor to processes
  • A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
  • You are comfortable navigating technical, scientific, and commercial discussions and translating them into structured opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities in parallel without losing accuracy
  • High attention to detail combined with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Applications, Finance, and Operations
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluent in English; German or any other EU language is a strong plus

Our Offer

  • A strategic and visible role at the heart of Cytosurge’s commercial organization
  • The opportunity to shape sales processes, inside sales practices, and CRM discipline
  • Close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • A dynamic, international environment at the intersection of cutting-edge science and commercialization
  • Real impact on revenue and growth, not just administration
  • A chance to grow into a key commercial operations expert
  • Exposure to both instrument sales and advanced service business models
  • The opportunity to build something that scales — processes, structure, and success

Cytosurge team

About us

Cytosurge is a synthetic biology enabler. We are dedicated to fulfilling the unmet need for implementing complex genetic designs into gene-edited mammalian cell lines. We thereby bridge the manufacturing gap between the advances made in data driven genetic design tools and tangible applications of genetically engineered cells. The company applies a patented single cell bottom-up gene editing process and groundbreaking dynamic gene expression analysis capabilities to construct, evaluate, and debug complex synthetic mammalian cell lines. We are thereby effectively addressing a major pain point of current genetic engineering workflows in mammalian cell lines. Our initial focus lies in enhancing therapy manufacturing for future cures, with the ultimate goal to empower genetic engineers to concentrate on designing next-generation gene edited mammalian cell lines, confident that their visionary concepts can be realized.
