IT Systems Engineer 80-100% (m/f/d)
Glattbrugg,
Switzerland
We're building the closed-loop engine for living cells - technology that lets us measure, perturb, and re-measure the same living cell without destroying it. This creates the world's only source of same-cell causal data, powering predictive AI that will transform how cures are developed.
We would be excited for you to help us drive this AI-first transformation! We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer who will co-own this transformation with us and report directly to the CEO. You will run IT operations to build a strong foundation and additionally help all of us work in fundamentally new ways.
If you want a well-defined scope and a ticket queue, this isn't it. But if you get excited about breaking old processes and rebuilding them with new ways of working – please keep reading.
Your Challenge
Keep the engine running (70%)
- Manage M365 environment, ENTRA-joined Win11 end points and Android MDM
- Maintain on-prem infrastructure and Unifi SDN network
- Handle user onboarding/offboarding and access management
- Ensure security, compliance, and smooth daily operations
- Interface with Odoo 18 (ERP) and HubSpot (CRM) where IT meets business
Make it better (OKR-driven) (30%)
- Identify and automate manual processes in purchasing, HR, recurring tasks, etc.
- Connect the dots between systems (M365, Odoo, HubSpot, n8n) and build workflow automations
- Work with agentic AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini) and collaborative AI (Claude Cowork) to accelerate everything you do
- Rethink processes AI-native - not just optimize, but reimagine with autonomous agents
- Deliver measurable improvements each quarter
Your Profile
- High level of IT operations competence - you can manage M365, endpoints, networks, and cloud identity
- Hands-on approach – next to thinking big, you are also okay with covering 1st level support
- You already use AI daily - not just "interested in AI" but actually using Claude Code, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar as a real part of how you work and you can name specific examples
- You have a builder mindset - you've automated something, scripted something or built a tool or workflow outside your job description
- High level of self-direction - you see problems and act on them rather than waiting to be instructed
- You are comfortable with ambiguity - this role has no playbook and you will figure it out with us
- You have a senior approach on how to navigate successfully within a complex company environment and collaborate with challenging stakeholders
- Business fluency in
English - German is a plus
- Experience with workflow automation (n8n, Power Automate, Zapier, scripting)
- Familiarity with Odoo, HubSpot, or similar business systems
- Curious about domains outside IT - you are interested in how the business works, not just the infrastructure
- Networking knowledge (Unifi/SDN)
- Interest in ML/data infrastructure
Our Offer
- Leadership is fully committed and our CEO and IT are aligned - you won't push AI adoption uphill, you'll co-drive the transformation with us
- Real impact - your work directly enables scientists to build technology that will change medicine
- A clear growth path - start with IT Ops, grow into ML Infrastructure and work directly with founders and CTO
- Joining a mission that matters - help build a world where cures are engineered with precision, not discovered by chance
Why should you join the team?
We are looking for someone who wants to be a co-driver of the next chapter of our company. If that excites you, we should talk. We look forward to meeting you in person!
